Travelspan flight made emergency landing at JFK

Over 200 passengers headed to Guyana were forced to return to New York after the Travelspan plane they were on made an emergency landing at the John F. Kennedy Airport on Tuesday morning.

The 767-300 plane was bound for Guyana with 209 passengers but diverted after one of the compressors inside the aircraft failed. According to information received, the plane was experiencing problems even before leaving the JFK Airport for George-town and this had caused a slight delay.
