Old students donate stove to St Joseph

In honour of their 10th graduation anniversary, students from the class of 2003 recently made a donation of a six-burner gas stove to the Home Economics Department of the St. Joseph High School.

This donation, a release from the group said, was the result of a series of fundraisers the group embarked on over the year.  Receiving the stove was Ms. Burch-Smith, a Geography teacher and long-serving faculty member. She expressed gratitude for the donation and stated that the stove will enable the home economics department to continue its stellar work.

The group says it has been consulting with the school’s head teacher about the needs of St Joseph and identified several small projects that can be done to assist.
