The Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) is advising that the Post Office Training Centre (located at Lamaha and Carmichael streets) is temporarily closed to the public until further notice. A release from the Post Office said that this closure is due to a robbery which occurred at the facility today. In the interim, customers are advised to utilize the services at any other Post Office within their proximity.
The Corporation said it will be implementing additional security measures to prevent any recurrence.
