Courts contributes $2M to GuyExpo

Courts Guyana yesterday contributed $2 million towards the Guyana Exhibition (GuyExpo).

Managing Director of Unicomer Guyana and Courts, Clyde de Haas stated that, “it’s again a pleasure and an honour for Unicomer to be part of this event, GuyExpo, one of the longest running events in Guyana.”

Dehaas also related that since Courts was introduced to Guyana, it has been supporting the local furniture industry and because of that, he feels that it is more than fitting that Courts becomes a part of GuyExpo. He also stated that these exhibitions play an important role in stimulating economic growth and economic activities.

Present at the ceremony yesterday to receive the contribution was Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Irfaan Ali.

The minister in his remarks stated that, the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce and Courts have had many strategic alliances in varied activities as it relates to national development.

“Their (Courts) interest in giving back to their customers, giving back to Guyana, is one that is most admirable,” Ali said.
