Dear Editor,
The actions of the Government of Guyana in revoking the work permit of the Head of the LEAD Project smacks of an era of animosity between Cold War foes.
It is also the modus operandi of present day anti-democratic countries. Are we then to assume that Guyana is stuck in a time warp? Or, is it that we are anti-democracy.
Let democracy reign or the Government must stop referring to Guyana’s democratic posture just in the same way that they want their critics to refrain from referring to their founding father.
