I would like to touch on a most dangerous traffic problem and that is what is referred to as blind spots caused by illegal parking. This can contribute to serious accidents.
There are two spots in particular I have identified in addition to many others. One is at Camp and New Market Streets and the other at Main and New Market Streets. The answer is to enforce the no parking zone at the end of the street. I suggest that a sign be placed ‘No Parking beyond this point.’ As we literally inch across the road we have mini-buses, hire-cars, et al, speeding in uncaring fashion.
