Dear Editor,
The explanations as to why we can’t have local government elections keep getting more bizarre. Now we hear about a new concept of “mood” democracy.
It would be helpful if the head of the governing party enlightened us on the methodology he and his government uses to measure this mood and who is their sample audience. Around from where I am from, I simply ask people if they are ready for local government elections and the resounding response I receive is “Yes!”
