At a simple ceremony this morning, in the Commissioner’s Conference Room, Police Headquarters, officials of the Assuria Insurance Company donated $400,000 in support of its community outreach projects in the presence of Senior Officers of the Police Force Administration.The officials comprised acting General Manager Yogindra Arjune, Operations Manager Clyde Muntslag and Agency Manager Erwin Daniels.In making the presentation Arjune said that the company was impressed with the work of the Guyana Police Force and the many community projects that have been initiated and geared to build capacity in the youths, and felt that it was their corporate responsibility to come on board in support of the Police Force.In photo, Commissioner (acting) Seelall Persaud (centre), is receiving the cheque from Yogindra Arjune, while Assistant Commissioner Balram Persaud and the other company officials look on.
