BK Western Tigers edged out the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) 2-1 in their third place playoff when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA)/Banks Beer Cup concluded on Wednesday at the National Stadium, Providence.
Hubert Pedro opened the scoring for the West Ruimveldt-based side in the 21st minute. Cutting into the box from the left side of the field, Pedro unleashed a flat right footed strike that nestled into the right hand corner of the net.
