The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) at a simple presentation ceremony at Olympic House on High Street Saturday handed over trophies and cash prizes to the various division winners of the recent Champion of Champions event.
In the Open category, Shemar Britton walked away with the first place trophy and the $15,000 cash incentive following his 11-5, 11-5, 5-11, 12-10 victory over Kyle Edghill. Britton earned his berth in the final after defeating Paul Meusa 15-13, 15-13, 11-8 in the semi-final.
