Little Divas go under 1-5 to Monedderlust

Little Divas FC went down to Monedderlust FC by a 5-1 score line in their first competitive outing on Sunday at the No. 5 Community ground, West Coast Berbice.

Tandica La Rose pushed the Georgetown side into the early lead with a ninth minute strike. Rebekah Nurse would level proceedings for the Berbice side as she found the back of the net in the 35th minute through a penalty kick.

Upon the resumption of the second period in the 70th minute encounter, Monedderlust would take the lead for the first time in the matchup through a Tianna Blackman 40th minute effort. The Berbice unit would double their advantage nine minutes later as Sasha Loo etched her name on the scorer’s sheet.

Loo would complete her double four minutes later as the Berbice side further strengthened their hold on the game. The fixture would be sealed five minutes before the end of regulation time as Devonna Frank netted.
