CCC makes strong reply

The Combined Campuses and Colleges team were 224-3 at press time on the second day of their day/night match of the West Indies Cricket Board’s regional four day competition at the 3Ws ground in Barbados.

They are replying to Guyana’s first innings score of 265 all out.

At the wicket were opener Shacaya Thomas on 150 not out and Chadwick Walton not out on 21.

In the Guyana first innings score Assad Fudadin scored 71, wicketkeeper Anthony Bramble made an unbeaten 64 and Leon Johnson returning from injury made 34.

Fudadin struck six fours and two sixes from 209 balls in close to 4-½ hours and shared a 60-run second wicket stand with Leon Johnson for the second wicket to consolidate for the visitors.
