Georgetown will begin its title defence today when the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) Under-19 Inter-Zone 50-overs competition sponsored by Demerara Fire and General Insurance bowls off at the Demerara and Georgetown Cricket Club, grounds.
In the first round, East Coast will go up against West Demerara at Georgetown Cricket club, and Georgetown will take on East Bank at Demerara Cricket Club.
In the second round on Thursday, East Coast and East Bank will battle at the Enmore Community Centre ground while Georgetown and West Demerara will lock horns at the Wales Community Centre ground.
In the third and final round next Monday West Demerara and East Bank will clash at the Wales Community Centre ground while East Coast and Georgetown will play at the Everest Cricket Club ground.
