Guyana beat Uruguay 5-1 at Pan American Indoor Cup hockey tourney

Team Guyana led by a Jamarj Assanah hat trick defeated Uruguay by a 5-1 score line in their fourth group matchup, when the Pan American Indoor Hockey Cup continued on Wednesday in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Falling behind to Alexis Lopez fifth minute field goal, Guyana would level proceedings 14 minutes later through an Assanah field goal effort.

Devon Munroe would push Guyana ahead four minutes later, netting compliments of a field goal strike. Robert France would make it 3-1 for the local side in the 29th minute as he netted through a field goal attempt.

Assanah would further strengthen Guyana’s position, completing his brace in the 31st minute from a field goal shot and the victory would be sealed six minutes later as Assanah netted his hat trick from a field goal strike.
