East Ruimveldt Secondary defeated Tucville Secondary 4-0 when the u-17 female division of the Guyana Sports Development Foundation (GSDF) Pepsi/Scotia Bank tourney continued yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

The lead would be doubled three minutes later as Troyann Barton netted with a powerfully struck right footed effort from just outside the 18 yard box, which finished into the lower right hand corner.

It would become 3-0 in the 37th minute as goalkeeper Decaycia Norville etched her name on the scorer’s sheet, placing her right footed penalty kick attempt into the right hand side of the net, following an infringement within the area.

Norville would seal the win six minutes later, completing her second half brace through another right footed penalty kick conversion into the lower left hand corner, after East Ruimveldt was awarded the spot kick following a foul inside the box.
