President of the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF) John Flores will be travelling to the Essequibo Coast to restart the Essequibo Volleyball Association by hosting a one-day open competition at month end.
According to a press release, Flores and a team from the GVF will be hosting the event on Saturday June 28 in what is expected to be a boon for the area as it boasts over 20 teams.
Region Two Sports Organiser Jerome Mahase is working assiduously to ensure that the meet is a success. The Essequibo teams are encouraged to start sharpening their skills and boosting their levels of fitness in anticipation of this highly anticipated event. Teams are also asked to take note of the date while confirmation of time and venue will be revealed soon.
