Volleyball president donates gear to hinterland programme

President of the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF) Commander John Flores presented over 50 balls and 10 nets to the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs to jump start the Hinterland Volleyball Programme 2014.

According to a press release, Flores presented the gift to the ministry in keeping with a commitment he made to do so on his appointment in December 2013.

He said there was some demand from hinterland communities for sports gear and equipment.
