Forde re-elected unopposed to lead Fruta Conquerors

Incumbent President Wayne Forde was re-elected unopposed at the Fruta Conquerors Football Club AGM held on Sunday at the club’s training facility in Tucville.

Forde, who was nominated by Odel Williams and seconded by team captain Delon Williams, will return to the helm of the club for his second consecutive term. Martin Carto and Jollian Lewis were elected unopposed to the vice-president posts. Carto was nominated by incumbent club secretary Daniel Thomas and seconded by Wayne St Jules while Lewis was nominated and seconded by Forde and Marvin Bradford respectively.

Club treasurer Tracy Brammer was elected unopposed after being nominated and seconded by Forde and Jamal Gibbs respectively, while Thomas returned as the club’s secretary unhindered after being nominated and seconded by Forde and Lewis correspondingly. Nekechi St. Jules and O Williams were elected committee members following three nominations for the posts. Nekechi led the way with 13 votes followed by Williams who received 11 votes. The third aspirant M. Bradford received seven votes.

A new position of club captain was also created at the meeting and Wayne St. Jules was elected to office after defeating club coach Calvin Allen by a 15-2 score line.
