Beterverwagting Secondary crushed the Institute of Business Education (IBE) by a 6-1 score line when the Region Four zone of the Digicel National Secondary Schools U-18 football tourney continued yesterday at the Beterverwagting ground.
Paul Kingston opened the scoring for the winners as he found the back of the net through a 16th minute strike. Kurt Abrams would double their advantage as he netted compliments of a 33rd minute conversion.
It would become 3-0 in the 56th minute as Osafo Campbell etched his name on the scorer’s sheet. The scores would continue to increase as Adams completed his double, netting through a 68th-minute shot.
Darrel Jones would then get into the goal scoring rush as he netted two minutes later. Campbell would then net his second of the fixture, sealing the win through a 72nd-minute strike. Scoring a consolation goal for the losers in the 75th minute was Seon Singh.
