A helping hand to squash

The Guyana Squash Association will be sending the Junior National Squash Team to the 32nd Junior CASA Championships scheduled for July 13-19, 2014 in Bermuda, where they will be defending their title.

The Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire & Life Insurance Companies is lending their support towards this sport by sponsoring junior team member, Sarah Lewis to help defend their title in Bermuda along with the rest of the team.

According to Secretary of the Guyana Squash Association, Vidushi Persaud, the junior team has enjoyed phenomenal success at these championships since 1983, winning numerous individual titles.

Last year the junior team secured the overall 1st place for the 9th consecutive year.

Hand-in-Hand says it sees this as a great opportunity to fulfill its corporate responsibility by supporting positive activities for the youths of the nation.
