And current Vice President of the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) is sponsoring today’s golf tournament at the Lusignan Golf Club.
“I have never played golf but I intend to be a member of the golf club and play the game,” said Sunich.
“About 15 years now I have been in association with the LCG; providing trophies for many tournaments, and in fact I have been sponsoring tournaments for some five years or so. I intend to be part of that game,” he added.
According to Sunich, he was pleased to continue sponsorship of the game in Guyana.
Today’s tournament is expected to attract a large number of players and up for grabs are trophies for the first three finishers in the three male Flights and first three finishers in the Female Flight.
Additionally there will be prizes for the Overall Best Net and Nearest to The Pin. Tee-off is set for 12 noon.
