Tucville Primary aiming to continue dominance

Perennial heavyweights Tucville Primary will aim to continue their dominant displays when today’s second day of the fourth annual Petra Organization/Courts Pee football tourney continues at the Thirst Park ground with 12 fixtures. Registering the largest margin of victory to date with a 6-0 hammering of Thomas Moore in their opening fixture, Tucville Primary will now lock horns with St. Gabriel’s from 13:34hrs.

Scorers of hat-tricks in the Tucville unit’s opening win, Kevon and Rayheem Marques will look to continue their dominant showing when opening whistle sounds.

Defending champions St. Pius Primary will also be under the microscope following their opening scoreless draw with J.E. Burnham and will now faceoff with St. Angela’s from 10:45hrs in a pivotal fixture.

In the other matchups, St. Margaret’s will tackle St. Ambrose while South Ruimveldt will engage Smith Memorial in the opening games at 10:00hrs.

At 10:45hrs, J.E. Burnham battles F.E. Pollard while Success Primary will lock horns with Ketley Primary and dark horses East La Penitence oppose Enterprise Primary at 11:30hrs correspondingly.

The 12:15hrs round of matches will then witness former winners Marian Academy matching skills with Winfer Garden and North Georgetown facing off with the ever-improving Stella Maris Primary.

Last year’s runners-up West Ruimveldt will then highlight the 13:00hrs round of matches when they faceoff with Green Acres while Comenius Primary tackles Redeemer Primary in the second game of that time period.  The final fixture of the day will then witness Thomas Moore Primary opposing St. Stephens Primary at 13:45hrs.
