The quarterfinal stage of the inaugural Health 2000 Guyana Incorporated Girls Primary Schools football event commences today at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.
In the opening quarterfinal showdown, North Georgetown Primary led by the likes of Angel Denny and Shedanie Bristol will lock horns with Stella Maris Primary from 11:30hrs.
The second quarterfinal matchup will pit heavyweights F.E. Pollard powered by the duo of Jealena Rollins and Omefia Langellier against the Naomi Curry-led West Ruimveldt outfit from 12:15hrs.
In the third quarterfinal fixture at 13:00hrs, South Ruimveldt led by the combination of Keiara Phillips and Yolanda Hoppy will engage St. Stephen’s Primary.
The final quarterfinal matchup will see tourney favourites Enterprise guided by the attacking combination of Aaliyah Elaine and Allianna George matching skills with Tucville Primary from 13:45hrs.
In the 9-12 playoff section, St. Pius Primary will faceoff with East La Penitence from 10:00hrs while Smith Memorial will oppose St. Margaret’s Primary from 10:45hrs.
