Royals and Jets earned the right to represent the Linden zone after emerging the division’s best two sides when the Mackeson 3×3 Basketball Challenge continued on Thursday at the Mackenzie Sports Club court.
Royals defeated Jets by a 15-3 margin to claim the top spot in the divisional finale led by a shooting display from guard Chris Williams who bagged 10 points from beyond the arc.
Jets and Royals will now join the likes of TRS Raptors from Melanie on the East Coast of Demerara, Den Amstel ‘A’ from West Coast Demerara, Colts ‘A’, Colts ‘B’, Pacesetters ‘A’ and defending champs, Pitbulls, all from the Georgetown zone, in the grand national finale on December 19th at the California Square court.
