Prisoner hangs self at Mazaruni jail

At about 15:00h today, the police say that convicted prisoner Navar Edwards called “Ramesh”, 31 years, of No 0 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, was found hanging from a sheet tied to the door of his cell in the Mazaruni Prison.
