Police say that the man whose body was found in the Demerara River in the vicinity of West Watooka, Linden, on January 08, 2015, has been identified as Quincy Johnson, 25 years, of Half Mile, Wismar.
A post mortem examination done on the body yesterday has revealed that the cause of death was due to an incised wound to the neck.
A man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
