On 8 July, 2014, at Wismar, Linden he allegedly broke and entered the dwelling of Quincy Forde and stole a quantity of valuables also amounting to $80,000.

Again between June 8 and 9, 2014, at Mackenzie, Linden, he reportedly broke and entered the business place of Sherry Fraser and stole a quantity of groceries and valuables, totalling $215,000.

Between October 9 and 11, 2014 at Amelia Ward, Linden, it was alleged that DeFreitas broke and entered the dwelling of Ronette Albert and stole a quantity of items amounting to $315,000.

Then on August 22, 2014 at Wismar, Linden, the accused allegedly stole from the person of Sushi Small one cellular phone valued $70,000.

Police Prosecutor Michael Grant objected to bail citing the nature, gravity and prevalence of the offence, the penalty it attracts and that police at Linden are currently investigating other matters in relation to DeFreitas. Grant added if bail is granted there is a likelihood that he will not return for trial since he was on the run from police since the first offence and was only caught and arrested on Tuesday last.

Bail was refused and the matter was adjourned to January 27, at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
