GPSU granted observer status for elections

The Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) has announced that it has obtained accreditation from the Guyana Elections Commission (Gecom) for Domestic Observers Status for the upcoming May 11th general elections.

“As a stakeholder in the Guyanese society, the [GPSU] and workers represented have an abiding interest in free and fair elections of the national government and parliament,” the union said in a press release.
