The Forbes Burnham Foundation is hosting a series of activities to mark the 92nd birth anniversary of the late President LFS Burnham.
According to a press release, the activities started on February 15 with a church service at the Kitty Methodist Church at 8am. The programme also includes a memorial symposium titled ‘Burnham and National Unity’ in remembrance of Elvin Mc David, former patron of the Foundation scheduled for the Critchlow Labour College (CLC) tomorrow at 5pm. On Saturday, the Foundation will host its annual general meeting at 10pm at the CLC. The programme will close on Sunday with the annual road race from Kara-Kara to Georgetown from 7am and from Georgetown to Belfield and back.
