At about 1015h. today, the police say that auto-dealer Intiaz Arakhan, 23 years, of Eccles, EBD, was at Water Street, Georgetown, when he was held up by a man armed with a firearm.
The perpetrator shot Arakhan to his right foot and took away a haversack with $2.5M and escaped on a motor cycle.
Arakhan has been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
