The gazetted official results of the 2015 General and Regional Elections are now available on the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) website: www.gecom.org.gy, GECOM said today.
These official results provide a detailed breakdown of each Registration District by Division and Sub-Division it added. GECOM says it has placed these results online so that anyone can have access to them for perusal in their own time.
“The official results of the 2015 General and Regional Elections are true, correct and credible and follow elections that were peaceful, free, fair and transparent. Elections Observer Teams both International and Domestic have all reacted extremely positively to the efficient and effective conduct of the 2015 General and Regional Elections by GECOM. There have been no credible, provable and evidence-based reports of any fraudulent election activity on the part of GECOM by any Political Party and reputable Local and/or Foreign Observer Groups”, GECOM said.
