An unidentified suspected bandit was killed on Tuesday night during a shootout outside Butcher’s Pools Bar in Campbellville.
According to a police press release, at around 11.20 pm on Tuesday, a group of persons, including a policeman and a member of the Guyana Defence Force, were at Butcher’s Pools Bar at Middleton Street, Campbellville, when two men approached and discharged rounds in their direction. Paul Chow, 31, of Railway Line, Kitty was hit to his chest and right jaw.
