A police patrol yesterday recovered 21 kilogrammes (equivalent to 46 pounds) of compressed marijuana at the Vriesland Foreshore, West Bank Demerara.
According to a police statement, the discovery was made at about 8:30AM, when the presence of the approaching patrol led three men, who were at the foreshore, to flee from the area. Afterwards, ranks checked the area and found the marijuana.
