Second man charged over Ghetto Flex murder

A second man was yesterday charged with the murder of East Ruimveldt resident Senassie Lewis, who was gunned down in September in front of the popular Ghetto Flex nightspot in Albouystown.

Clive Forde, called ‘El Stinky,’ was not required to plead to the charge which stated that on September 4th, at Albouystown, he murdered Lewis.

An unrepresented Forde is expected to make his next court appearance before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan on November 12th.

Forde’s arraignment comes almost two months after Charlestown resident Kieron Taylor was charged with Lewis’ murder.

In light of a second person being charged, Police Prosecutor Kerry Bostwick made an application to have the men be jointly charged.

Lewis was allegedly at a dance at the Ghetto Flex bar, located at James and Albouys streets, Albouystown, when two gunmen walked up and opened fire around 3 am on September 4th.

According to an eyewitness, two men walked up to the crowd of people where Lewis was standing and opened fired on him. After they fired about 14 shots and saw his body drop to the ground, they ran towards a white car and escaped.

Lewis was subsequently pronounced dead on arrival the Georgetown Public Hospital.
