Lindeners on drug charge after cops find ganja on roof

Six Lindeners were yesterday hit with a drug trafficking charge after police discovered 58 grammes of cannabis on the roof of a building where the group had been playing dominoes.

Wittilla Bess, Trevon Elcock, Neville Bastiani, Ronald Reid, Shemrock Peters and Wesley Hercules were all accused of being in possession of the cannabis on December 5 at Wismar Housing Scheme.

The accused all pleaded not guilty to the charge.

According to the attorney representing Reid, on the day in question, the group was playing dominoes at a Sports Hall in Wismar when the police came and conducted a raid.
