Visiting CARDI scientists to aid in improving coconut production

Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) scientists are presently in Guyana networking with stakeholders involved in the European Union (EU)-financed four-year “Coconut Industry Development for the Caribbean” project.

A release from the institute stated that it had been commissioned by the Geneva-based International Trade Centre (ITC) to implement the project in Guyana and eight other CARIFORUM countries. The other countries being targetted are Belize, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines,
