The Bauxite Company of Guyana Inc (BCGI) on Friday officially commissioned two wells in the Region Ten communities of Hururu and Bamboo Landing.
According to a GINA press release, the wells, which will ensure that residents of the communities have access to potable water, were dug by the BCGI and cost in excess of $25 million.
The well in Hururu Mission, Upper Berbice is approximately 200 feet (60.96 metres)
