The bodies of the two boat captains who went missing after a collision on Saturday night have been recovered.
According to a police press release, the bodies of Roy Roopnarine, 46, and Trevor Persaud, 27, of Itaballi, were recovered around 7 am yesterday in the vicinity of Bradford Point, Mazaruni River. Two boats had collided on the Mazaruni River on Saturday and four men were thrown overboard; two of them had been rescued.
