A miner is hoping that he will be able to use his left foot as per normal again after it was run over by a Land Cruiser while he was making his way to a mining pit at Omai, Region 10.
Tony Daniels, 33, a father of one of Mabaruma, North West District, is currently hospitalized at the Georgetown Public Hospital Male Surgical Ward nursing an injured left foot. While the extent of his injuries is unknown he is expected to undergo an x-ray today.
