Second accused in bike theft remanded

A fisheries worker was yesterday remanded to prison after he was faced with a charge that he stole a motorbike.

Jamal Letlow, 20, of John Fernandes Squatting Area, is the second person to be charged with the theft of the bike, which belonged to Shawn Edoo.

It is alleged that Letlow stole the bike on November 6, at West Ruimveldt, Georgetown.

Colin Harry, 21, of Lot 18 Meadow Brook Gardens, was last Tuesday charged with stealing the bike and he was granted $150,000 bail.

Letlow was placed on $100,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, who adjourned the matter to January 7, 2016.
