Body of missing Corentyne money changer found

About 0700h. this morning the body of Mohamed Fizal Baksh, 56 years, of Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, was found on the foreshore at No. 63 Village, Corentyne, the police said.

A post-mortem examination was done by Pathologist Dr. Vivekanand Brijmohan who gave the cause of death as haemorrhage and shock due to a fractured skull.

Mohamed Baksh, a money changer,  had been reported as missing on December 21, 2015.

Investigations are continuing, the police say.
