Two men die after Manchester bar brawl

About 2230h. last night, the police say that a group of men were imbibing at a bar at Manchester, Corentyne, when an argument arose which turned into a disorderly brawl involving the use of cutlasses and knives.

During the incident Mark Simon, 28 years, of Liverpool, Corentyne; and Kempton Gray, 23 years, of Alness, Corentyne; sustained injuries. They were taken to hospital where  Simon was pronounced dead on arrival, and Gray succumbed while receiving medical attention.

Bhiron Robertson, 31 years, of Liverpool; Samuel Fraser, 32 years, of Liverpool; and Gary Tyndall, 32 years, of Courtland, Corentyne, also suffered injuries.

Robertson and Fraser have been admitted to hospital while Tyndall was treated and sent away.

Investigations are in progress.
