(Trinidad Express) A 33 year old watchman appeared in the Port of Spain Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with the murder of Police Constable Russel Ramnarine and UWI electrical engineering student Avery Keshwar.Accused Mark Christopher was taken before Chief Magistrate Marcia Ayres Caesar, defended by attorney Larry Williams.

Christopher, of Pundit Street, El Socorro, was also charged with the possession of arms and ammunition.
He is accused of the shooting deaths of Ramnarine and Keshwar outside a barbeque outlet at Aranguez Main Road, San Juan, on the morning of December 14.
Charges were laid by Sergeant Learie Figaro.
Christopher was remanded in prison custody, and the case adjourned January 20, 2016.
