Hodge was granted $200,000 bail after she denied the charge and her attorney made a successful petition for her pre-trial liberty at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.

Attorney Dexter Todd, who represented Hodge, noted that she was placed on $200,000 station bail almost one year ago and has since been cooperating with the police. He further indicated that there was no outstanding balance, since the money was repaid.

Todd also said Hodge, who has no other pending matter before the court, was not a flight risk and was also willing to submit to any conditions required by the court to return for trial.

There was no objection to bail, which was set at $200,000. The matter was transferred to the Vreed-En-Hoop Magistrate’s Court and will be called there on January 16.
