Accused in Tucville murder charged jointly

The two men accused of murdering Ryan Clementson, who was fatally shot in Tucville last month, were charged jointly with the crime on Friday.

Edward Skeete and Nabadamingi Gobin were previously charged separately with the murder.

Skeete, known as ‘Pretty Boy,’ of Lot 309 Independence Boulevard, and Nabadamingi Gobin, of 1249 Aubrey Barker Road, South Ruimveldt Park, are charged with murdering Clementson on July 14th, 2015.

Clementson and a friend, Ayodella Solomon, were shot in the vicinity of the Turning Point Snackette in Tucville. Clementson, who had been shot in his thigh, succumbed on July 24th from a cardiac arrest after undergoing surgery.

The accused are no strangers to the justice system as they had both previously made appearances before the court for serious offences.

Skeete, who had been charged with the death of an Industry businessman in 2011, was earlier this year found not guilty by a 12-member jury. His accomplice, Gobin, appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan three weeks ago for charges of breaking and entering, and the unlawful possession of a firearm.

The men are due to appear in court again on Monday.
