The Guyana Water Inc (GWI) yesterday received bids for the Supply and Delivery of Service Connection Materials at several locations.
The opening of the bids was done at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) in the Ministry of Finance compound.
Contractors and bidders have complained for several weeks over the wait they have to endure for the opening of tenders, sometimes for as long as from 9:00am to 11:00pm and beyond.
Yesterday’s sessions were no different as many projects have been put out for bids in recent months.
Supply and Delivery of Service Connection Materials to GWI
The engineer’s estimate: Lot 1. $35, 840, 000, Lot 2. $10, 500, 000. Lot 3. $29M. Lot 4. $13, 917, 000.
Meanwhile, two bids were received by the Demerara Harbour Bridge Corporation for the Supply and Installation of Two Engines for the Rickford L. 11 Tug.
