Senior citizen can’t get phone service restored

Dear Editor,

I write on behalf of a frustrated senior citizen who turned up at my door a few days ago venting his frustration about his landline telephone service which has been down for the past two months.

Mr Henry Adams, a retired Prison Warder of Cumberland, East Canje has made several reports about the service to the GT&T N/A Commercial Office at Strand, New Amsterdam. He has also reported it to various technicians, and they all promised to send someone to check the problem.

To date, (two months later) nothing has been done to restore service to the man’s phone.
