Dear Editor,
I believe that the $221 billion dollar budget presented by the A Partnership for National Unity+Alliance For Change coalition government under the theme of a fresh approach to the good life in a green economy, is a working class budget. Trade union rights, human rights, and political democracy are all of crucial importance to the workers in any society if they are to maintain their human dignity as free men and women, and if they are to obtain a fair share of the wealth.
Inclusionary democracy offers the only political environment in which trade unions can flourish.
