Junior Minister, Ministry of Social Protect-ion – Department of Labour, Simona Broomes’ firm and decisive action against Asian logging giant, Ban Shanlin, must be commended.
We cannot have or condone an expatriate company disrespecting a minister or our labour laws. We saw what happened at the bauxite company in Linden. Good for you Minister Broomes.
November is Remem-brance Month. While we remember our fallen heroes of two World Wars, we must also remember 1978 ‒ Jim Jones, Jonestown and 900 souls.
