Saying one thing and doing another

Dear Editor,

Here’s an interesting piece: A recently elected Prime Minister is coming under fire for using public money to pay for nannies to look after his children. It is stated that even though the nannies were only recently employed they will be paid from the day the Prime Minister was sworn into office.

While on the campaign trail the now Prime Minister criticised the former administration’s approach to child care benefits arguing that rich families did not need taxpayers’ help.

The opposition in the country is very forceful in saying such benefits should be funded from the PM’s salary.

A classic example of saying one thing while on the campaign trail and doing something else when elected to office.

Yours faithfully,
